This guy just wasted about 2 hours of my precious time.
First he responds to the W3C website coder position & the URLs he gave us weren’t even valid. His excuse was that non of his clients wanted to waste time on that.
Then his English was sooooo poor, I couldn’t really understand him. At one point he made it seem like his clients did everything for him, provided him with the graphics, CSS, html, etc. So what did he do, nothing?
When I asked him about that, he ignored my question, another example of poor communication skills.
He also didn’t explain why his URLs weren’t valid, I had to ask him why he even bothered wasting my time responding to the hiring ad. His excuse is that he doesn’t speak much.
So I told him I didn’t feel it was going to work out.
Then the next thing I know, he starts telling me that the URLs he sent me were to showcase his PHP, & EVERYONE knows you can’t see quality PHP through a website URL, so I point blank stated this.
Now he was wasting my time & confusing me, was he really a programmer & not a website coder?
So then he says he wants to apply for the PHP programmer position & I told him I didn’t think his communication skills were going to be good enough, but I gave him the hiring ad to review.
The next thing I know, the guy e-mails me back saying I don’t work for adult companies even though in EVERY hiring ad we clearly state what type of company we are.
So not only did he frustrate me to no end, he wasted my valuable time because he couldn’t even read & understand the English that was there in the hiring ad even though he somehow managed to give us the 3 things we asked for.
Geeze, what a waste
