So we waited almost 3 months before deciding to post this.

Michele contacted us via our hiring ad looking for an HR Expert & Recruiter.

For 3 days straight we went back & forth & Michele was very pushy trying to get us to hire her. She was very excited to be working with us (or so she said).

We spent a lot of time screening her, & then interviewing her. It was very clear she wanted the position, so we decided to hire her & see if it would work out.

Then all of a sudden out of the blue no later then a day later, she “claims” that she can’t work anymore, her grandchild who’s only 8 months old has to go into surgery & she has to take care of him. Where his mother was I have no idea.

At first I thought she was lying, but then she had me convinced this was all true, so I believed her. I mean who would make up such a story. You’d have to be really mean to use your grandchild as an excuse, but hey, people are people & do lie like this.

I asked her to write me back when things were all settled & we’d take it from there. I figured she’d be out of the loop for a few weeks, maybe a month, but as you can see, 3 months later & she never wrote to us.

Even a day after she quit I was pretty sure she had been lying to me since I could see she was still online & if you are indeed taking care of your grandchild & couldn’t work at the position you just accepted, you wouldn’t be online at all, but I wasn’t sure if I was correct, so we waited.

Michele wasted our time, & it’s clear to me she’s very good at manipulating & selling herself. Selling herself & manipulating the situation, but then clearly doesn’t follow through & is unreliable.

That has been our experience with her.
